Nearby, bordering the ravine, we arrive in the beautiful city of Tigre (tiger in English). Its name comes from the jaguars that used to inhabit the area, confused with tigers by the Spanish colonizers. At this destination, the imposing delta of the Paraná will appear right before our eyes, which is the second-largest delta in South America located in a subtropical region. During a one-hour sailing in a catamaran, we will get to know its channels and discover the unique lifestyle of the islanders who reside on the thousands of islands in the area, and all this, in the context of a truly dazzling landscape.
After sailing, we will go to the famous Puerto de Frutos of Tigre. This is an old food supply center that has been transformed into a fascinating market that sells local fruits and crafts. Here, you will have free time to walk around and explore, enjoying the lively atmosphere of the market, chosen by Buenos Aires residents and locals to purchase crafts made of wicker.
