ABOUT THE Tour

Following the path of the colonial origins of Buenos Aires and through the surroundings of the Plaza de Mayo, we will continue towards the southern neighborhoods, and discover the traces of the conquest and the impact of the great European immigration wave at the end of the 19th century. We will explore the old port neighborhood of La Boca, with its football stadium and the picturesque tenements on the edge of Caminito. There, in the southern suburbs of the city, Tango music was once born hand in hand with the immigration wave.

Known as a multifaceted city, nearby working-class neighborhoods we will embark on a journey through Puerto Madero, Retiro, and Recoleta, the wealthiest neighborhoods in the city. Thus, we will see the result of a modernization process that modified our small village into a metropolis with a European scent and a Parisian touch, that awarded Buenos Aires with the label of the Paris of South America.
