On this tour, we are visiting one of the most attractive and exciting cities in South America. During the 4 hours of the tour (including pick-up and drop-off at the requested destinations), we will dive into the aspects that make Buenos Aires a unique city.
We will visit the most important neighborhoods and the iconic parts of the city and observe them thoroughly and profoundly to truly understand their unique essence from a cultural, social, and economic perspective.
We will start by exploring the colonial beginnings of Buenos Aires in the Plaza de Mayo, the most important public and political space in Argentina. From there, we are heading south of the city to our second stop, San Telmo, famous for its narrow cobblestone streets and historic passages. In its heart, we will visit the picturesque Plaza Dorrego, home of the fascinating fair known as Mercado de Antigüedades (antique market), held every Sunday.
We won’t miss the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the vibrant port neighborhood of La Boca, known for its rich culture and Italian origins. Here, the iconic multicolor tenements or conventillos of Caminito and football, a passion that brings Argentines together, will be the main characters during our visit.
We will then head to Puerto Madero, another neighborhood nearby. Puerto Madero is an example of advanced modernity that will dazzle you for sure, as it evidences the constant development and evolution of Buenos Aires. Next, we will explore the elegant neighborhood of Palermo with its centuries-old parks and end up in the posh Recoleta area.
Once in Recoleta, we will visit its legendary cemetery, where prominent referents of Argentine politics and culture rest, including the one and only Evita Perón, an emblematic figure of the country’s history.
