The Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA) was founded in September 2001 with the objective of collecting, preserving, studying and disseminating Latin American art from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. As a private and non profit organization, it holds nearly 400 works by the most relevant contemporary artists from the region.
In the course of 2 hours, we offer a tour through a selection of works that brings together the most important pieces of the collection, most of them exhibited in the museum’s permanent exhibitions throughout the year. The museum is the only one with a purpose-built building in Buenos Aires.
